Brittany Lee Howard is a beloved, Louisiana native artist. As some know, over three weeks ago Brittany was admitted to a local hospital due to an infection that spread from her throat through her body to her lungs. She underwent 8 surgeries and was intubated for over two weeks. Brittany is thankfully on the way to recovery but has a long road ahead. She expects months of infusions, antibiotics, rehab, as well as possible future surgeries and procedures. Unfortunately, during this time her body needs to rest and heal; and she will be unable to create the beautiful art we all know and love. Over the past month, she has acquired an astronomical amount in hospital bills. Unable to work during this time, whatever your heart feels or is able to give is greatly and forever appreciative. She is eagerly waiting to get back to her work, community, family and friends. Until then, we thank you for all your prayers, well wishes, and giving.
