Brittany Kristine Myers (Romena)

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beautiful sister, wife, daughter, aunt, family, and friend, Brittany Kristine Myers (Romena). As most of you know, she had been battling a long and exhausting battle after receiving a Double Lung Transplant in March 2022. After endless hospital visits, doctor appointments, and long days and nights of struggling to breathe, Brittany remained determined and resilient to fight for her life. We are broken by this irreplaceable loss and will forever miss her.

Brittany fulfilled her dream of getting married to the love of her life, Andrew Myers, on August 18, 2023. It must be said that Andrew never left her side since day one and proved his unconditional love over and over again, and for that, the family will be forever grateful for him. During her final hospital visit, Brittany turned 31 on September 7th, the same age her father was when he left this earth. She frequently talked about her dad and how much she missed him and wanted to see him again.

Brittany was genuinely the most thoughtful and giving family and friend. There were no strangers in her world. From her crazy dancing and endless humor, to her boisterous sudden laughter (if you know, you know), and everything in between, her absence has left a void that cannot be filled. We will never forget so much of what she gave us to remember. There are simply not enough words to articulate Brittany in just a couple paragraphs, but to know her was to love her, and all that knew her have their own story and memory of the beautiful life she lived.
