Hello everyone,

I created this fundraiser for my wife, Brittany, my partner of 13 years and the loving mother of our daughter.

Brittany is the kind of person who always puts her family first. She is caring, resilient, and the heart of our home. Even while facing cancer, she continues to worry more about our daughter and the people she loves than she does about herself.

After months of tests, appointments, uncertainty, and waiting, we finally received the diagnosis: Stage 4 Squamous Cell Carcinoma, a form of Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer. It took nearly three months before treatment could begin, all while her pain continued to progress.

On March 12th, Brittany started external radiation treatments. After completing radiation, she began targeted therapy with Capmatinib. On May 12th, we completed follow-up CT scans and remain hopeful that the treatment is having a positive effect. While the medication has come with side effects, we are grateful that she is able to continue fighting.

Recently, we learned that the cancer has also metastasized to her scalp, requiring additional treatment and creating new physical and emotional challenges for our family. Despite everything she is facing, Brittany continues to show incredible strength and determination.

The donations we receive are helping us manage the many expenses that come with cancer treatment, including medical costs, transportation to appointments, childcare for our daughter during treatments and follow-up visits, and maintaining stability for our household during this difficult season. Having reliable childcare allows Brittany to focus on her health and recovery while ensuring our daughter is cared for and supported. 50 cents, 1 dollar, a share are all grateful no matter how small you think it means, thank you.

One of our goals is to reduce enough financial pressure that Brittany can focus fully on healing and recovery. We also hope to pay off our truck this year and eventually have both Brittany and our daughter covered under my insurance. This would allow Brittany to spend more time with our daughter, be more involved in her school and daily life, and focus on her health without the constant stress of balancing work and treatment.
