Hello, my name is Rachel and this fundraiser is on behalf of my older sister Brittany.

For those of you who know Brittany you already know that she’s compassionate, generous and has a contagious laugh and joy about her.

For those of you who don’t know her Brittany is 35 years old and the oldest of 8 children, she has 3 boys of her own, she’s a single mother and she hand makes jewelry outside of her 9 to 5.

This past Monday Brittany suffered a stroke and brain bleed and has since been in the ICU. With some progression and strides we didn’t expect to see so early on, Brittany is impressing us by the day. Luckily medical expenses will be covered by insurance, but unable to work and provide for an amount of time unknown in this moment we, our family, are proactively setting up this fund. We hope to alleviate any additional stressors and to set Brittany up financially so she takes the time she needs on this long road to rehabilitation and doesn’t feel pressured to over do it.

The outpour of support we have already seen in just the past 5 days has been wonderfully overwhelming and your words of love, encouragement and kindness have been passed along.
