On September 7th, 2025, our beloved Brittany Ann Bilodeau (born February 9th, 1998) had her life tragically cut short at just 27 years old.

Brittany was a bright light — a daughter, a granddaughter, a niece, a sister, a best friend, and a beautiful soul who touched everyone who knew her. She had a radiant smile, a huge personality, and a loving, caring heart. She felt things deeply and was always ready to help a friend in need. Losing her so suddenly has left her family and friends heartbroken beyond words.

That morning, Brittany woke up struggling to breathe. At the hospital, her chest X-ray revealed that her lungs were filled with fluid. Surrounded by her mother Michelle, stepfather Chris, god sister Kendra, and best friend Richie, she fought as doctors tried everything to help her. When breathing treatments weren’t enough, they prepared to intubate her and place her into a medically induced coma so her body could rest and she could be airlifted for more advanced care. In those moments, complications set in. Despite two hours of heroic efforts, including advanced CPR, the doctors were unable to bring her back.

Just one month earlier, Brittany’s father had passed away. She had only just received his ashes the day before and was preparing for his memorial. It feels as though her own heart, already broken by grief, could bear no more.

To honor Brittany’s life, her family is raising funds to cover:

• Cremation costs (approximately $2,500)

• Flowers and expenses for a Celebration of Life

• A beautiful urn for her ashes (with any funds raised above cremation going toward this)

These funds will allow Michelle, Chris, Kendra, and Richie to give Brittany the love-filled farewell she deserves.
