Hello everyone,
Brittany Muzzey, her 17 year old son Ben, and her 15 year old daughter Jenna has been through every family's worse nightmare. On June 1, 2021 at 6:40 PM, Brittany was at work, Ben was at his Grandma's house, and Jenna was asleep at home. Jenna was awoken suddenly (a miracle in itself because she is such a deep sleeper) by the sound of a downstairs windows exploding! By the grace of GOD and quick thinking, she managed to get out of the house safely and also get all of the puppies out safely as well!! This young girl, heroically, also knocked on ALL of the neighbors doors, to assure that they too got out safely!! She EVEN wanted to go back in to save her other pet rats, but thank God, the neighbors stopped her from this otherwise brave task, because Jenna may not be with us today. Unfortunately, these beloved pets did perish in the fire, along with every single thing this family owned. Jenna was not even wearing shoes when she ran out of the house. While we do realize that these items can be replaced and the most important thing is that everyone is safe, this family really needs our help.
While we understand these are extremely tough times for everyone, we are asking the community to come together to help this family in any way you can. Brittany is one of the most generous, kind, compassionate, and caring women that I've ever known. ❤ She is a public servant who has worked relentlessly in the field of Behavioral Health in Substance Use Disorders. She has made a huge impact in the lives of those in Recovery and their families, get back to a life of normalcy. The least we can do for someone who dedicates every day of their life to such a noble cause, is to help her and her family get back on their feet and feel a little sense of normalcy again, after such a tragic event. Any donation amount can help and will be greatly appreciated. Thank you all for your time and generosity. Please keep Brittany, Ben, and Jenna in your continuous thoughts and Prayers during this extremely difficult time. ❤
