My name is Stephanie Hanson and I started this gofundme on behalf of my cousin, Brittany Soltis, and her son, Zander. Earlier this year, Brittany lost her husband, Adam, to cancer. Needless to say it has been a very difficult year for both Brittany and Zander as they navigate through life without Adam. Unfortunately, during a trip to Çolorado to visit family, Brittany and Zander's house was burglarized which added to the stress and strain put upon this family in 2016. Among many things stolen, the $400 Brittany had been saving for Christmas is gone in addition to Zander's piggy bank which contained anywhere from $500-1,000.
After Brittany shared this heartbreaking news with me last weekend, I could not just sit back and be ok with the idea of her and Zander's holiday being ruined on the first Christmas (and Adam's birthday) without Adam. Although the sentimental items that were stolen cannot be replaced, my goal is to raise $1000 to replace the Christmas money that was lost and partially replace Zander's piggy bank money. I am hoping to raise this money as quickly as possible so that we can save their Christmas!
I am so grateful to anyone and everyone that is willing to donate to this amazing mom and her son who have been through such loss and sadness this year. I know they will appreciate anything we can raise for them!
