I am a friend and teammate of Britta Siegel's and wanted to share some unfortunate news.

On Sunday March 19, Britta was in a bad cycling accident toward the end of her race. She went down hard with much of the impact on her chin and face. She suffered severe lacerations and lost several of her front teeth. She is home now after undergoing several hours of surgery.

Encouraged by her many friends and teammates, I would like to ask for your financial assistance to help pay for Britta's additional dental and medical expenses as well as her living expenses until she is able to work again. Your support and assistance will be greatly appreciated.
