Brit's Road to Recovery: Your Help Matters
Donation protected
Our grandson, Brit, has been battling digestive disease since he was 16. He had a total colectemoy at 21, and recently encountered extreme gird (age 28). Now with only his small intestines, he entered the surgical arena with a bowel blockage in the small intestines. He has met with some complications with abssess and infection caused when the incision ruptured from vomiting, creating a need for a tube to be placed through his hip to drain the fluid from the abdomen. Finally, the TPN and lipids that have been sustaining his life for the last 3 weeks, have been removed successfully and drain tubes have also been removed. He has triumphantly battled the odds and will hopefully be discharged from the hospital in the next week. The out of pocket expense will be huge, not to mention not being able to work over the past two months and not knowing how long work will be hampered during the recovery nor how long recovery will take. We humbly ask for any donation you could make in his behalf.
