Britney Fight Defamation Case

Hi everyone, my name is Britney Tanner.  I’m a single mother of two. Two years ago, my then-boyfriend threw me into a pool and broke my phone. A few months later, he attacked me again. He called me a whore. He threw me down onto the bed. He bit my face. And when I called for help and tried to escape he threw my phone in the pool. He was arrested and later admitted to the court that he had assaulted me.

He’s now suing me for defamation.

 

I hope you can understand how difficult and traumatic this process has been for me.

 

While I have a solid case against this lawsuit, my attorneys (who are working very hard on my behalf) quite frankly, cost money.

 

I have been doing my best to keep my head above water on top of living expenses, but the money I need to push forward and put this all behind me for good just isn’t doable by myself right now. The timing is urgent and my options are few.

 

This is where I ask you to come in.

 

I was so grateful for the support of my friends, family, and community at the start of all of this.

It takes a lot for me to ask for help and is extremely triggering, as I’m sure you can imagine.
