British Police Women's Tour - South Africa
Donation protected
My name is Matilda, and I’m a serving police officer with Derbyshire Constabulary and a passionate rugby player since childhood. I’ve been incredibly honoured with the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent both Derbyshire and the British Police Women’s Rugby Team on tour in South Africa in January 2026.
The tour will involve playing against local South African teams and, just as importantly, taking part in community policing and outreach events — sharing ideas, learning from different cultures, and giving back through sport and service.
I’m proud to say I’m the only officer from Derbyshire selected for this, and I would love to represent our county with pride.
To make this dream a reality, I need to raise the necessary funds to support my place on the tour, I’m reaching out to ask for your support, any contribution — big or small would be greatly appreciated.
I’m so proud to be representing my hometown and I hope to carry the spirit of Derbyshire with me throughout this experience. Your support would mean everything — not just to me, but to everyone I hope to reach on this journey.
Please give this a share so I can reach as many people as possible.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this — your community support is deeply appreciated.
Thankyou,
Matilda
