Hi, my name is Roger Hovell. I am the chairman of the Histon, Cambridge British Legion Club where our members and their families spend many days and evenings meeting for all sorts of clubs and activities. We serve the community often fund raising for good causes. Unfortunately last week vandals broke in and completely trashed the place. They smashed the slot machines, shutters on the bar and took the safe out of the wall with a substantial amount of raised funds for the club. On top of that they broke off the tap on the beer tap and flooded the floor of the building. Devastatingly they took all the raffle prizes for the Grand Christmas Draw. All the prizes had been collected during the year. Unfortunately they also cut the CCTV cables and took the TV and Hardrive along with several tablets used for darts tournaments. This is a devastating blow to the club which helps the community so any help you can give will very much be appreciated
