hello!

my name is Carys, and in 2026 I will be spending four weeks off-grid in the At-Bashi mountain range of Kyrgyzstan with the British Exploring Society.

The British Exploring Society is a world class youth development charity with a unique heritage, founded on the belief that challenging experiences can transform lives, empowering and equipping young people with the courage, skills, resilience and determination to make the most of their future.

As part of my place on the expedition, I have been set a fundraising target by BES. The money raised goes directly towards making future expeditions possible and helping other young people access opportunities to explore the outdoors.
