BRITA steps challenge for Alex

Alex was sadly diagnosed with leukaemia in March 2018 in Cheltenham. Not only did he have to battle leukaemia, Alex also suffered with severe infections that added to his already brave battle just to successfully reach the current stage of treatment.
Alex is currently undergoing the second stage of chemotherapy treatment, and so far the treatment is going well. Alex's determination, will, and attitude has been inspirational to those around him who have supported him through this difficult time.
BRITA want to help raise charitable funds for Alex, his wife Lexi and their two young daughters to help them during his recovery period.
The funds will be used to ensure Alex can support the family, help with living costs, and hope to take a well-earned break when he is out of treatment.
To help do this the employees of BRITA are taking on a Steps challenge and as a group walking the amount of steps it would take to get from Land’s End to John O Groats, or even further!
The team will start on Saturday 1st September and finish on Monday 10th September, each recording their daily steps using a pedometer
The team are aiming to raise over £5,000 in donations to help aid the recovery journey for Alex and his family.
The funds raised will go directly to Alex, Lexi and their daughters to support them through this time where Alex has been unable to work due to the illness.
