So the story begins!
Hi, we are setting up this fundraising page for our 14 year old daughter Grace Deanie-Stronach from Coventry, UK. Grace is a singer-song writer who plays Grade 5 piano and guitar. This September Grace will be embarking on a move to London to study at the Unique Brit School, a prestigious Performance and Creative Arts environment based in Croydon, England. Grace was one of only three people from outside of London, worldwide to be accepted at the Brit school which makes this achievement of gaining a place at school even more incredible. We are hoping to raise £5375.00 for Grace to attend the Brit school with this special fundraiser with your help!
Why Grace?
Grace has a wonderful, creative, ambitious and not to mention keen interest in all aspects of Music and the Arts. She is part of a collaborative collective of young musicians who are part of a musical group named ‘Soundlab’ in Coventry and Warwickshire. This amazingly talented group have performed throughout various events throughout the City of Coventry such as Godiva Festival, Awards ceremonies and end of year concerts. Grace has played and listened to music from a tender age and was brought up around musicians alike. Having attended an open evening at the Brit school Grace found her vocation in life and only at the age of 14!, on her own she worked like crazy to perfect and perform for her audition and that hard work and eagerness not to mention pure determination got her a place at this first class school. Her broad range of interests in all aspects of music have been a great foundation to start a career in this industry and by attending the Brit school we hope this gives her the environment, opportunity, creativity and unique start to what could be and hopefully will be a very very bright future.
The Brit School
Based in London the Brit School for Creative and Performing Arts is a place to train and educate young people for a career in these challenging industries. It is a role model for its community and provides a unique educational approach to creative teaching. It caters for Key stage 4 pupils through to post 16 and prepares students for life in the Arts. It’s a one off school with world-class teachers and some very famous ex alumni such as Adele! Brit school was founded in 1991 and relies purely on the generosity of individuals, companies and institutions. It is well known for its diverse approach to all students regardless of race, religion, sexuality. This is an amazing place and home to Grace hopefully for the next four years.

As we know through austerity and Covid 19 things of late have been extremely difficult financially so we ask only to give what one can afford. In return you will be helping kick-starting a career in the Music industry for Grace, giving Grace the best opportunity in an exciting environment to educate, prosper, create and form this wonderful girls passion, love and ambition for Music and the Arts. This is once in a life time opportunity for Grace, attending a brilliant institute where she will be harnessed and educated to world class levels.
