Bristol to Taunton run for Brain Tumour Research

Hi, I’m Thomas, I'm raising money for Brain Tumour Research UK, as my sister Julia died from a brain tumour in 1978, she was only 9 years old when she died, ( I was 7).

I will be running between Gloucestershire County Cricket Ground, Bristol & Somerset County Cricket Ground, Taunton over the Saturday & Sunday of the August bank holiday.

I will run 44.8 miles (72.098 km)

I have run about 50 1/2 marathon’s, 6 Marathons, 1 Super Sprint Triathlon & 3 Sprint Triathlons. I ran from Sherborne Cricket Ground in Dorset to Somerset County Cricket Ground 40 miles (64.373 km) in 2021 which took 9 hours, 20 minutes.

I don’t remember Julia very well, but what I do remember is that she always had a huge smile on her face and she was always happy to see me her little brother. I've been told that if I did anything wrong Julia would say:- 'it wasn't Thomas, it was me'.

I insisted my boys know her as Aunty Julia. I absolutely adored my sister and miss her like crazy.

So please help me raise £2500 so that no more families have to go through the trauma my family did,
