Briseida Mauricio Flores

On June 18th our beautiful princess Brisi (13)  received some not so good news. The doctors have told us that she has been diagnosed with AML - Acute Myeloid Leukemia. AML is a type of cancer of the blood and bone marrow with excess immature white blood cells. On July 2nd she started her first cycle of 4 cycles of a 10 day chemo treatment. After those 10 days she needs to stay in the hospital for up to 3 weeks for observation for any infections. She then gets to come home for a couple of days and repeat the process 3 more times which would add up to about 4 months in the hospital.
We are setting up this fundraiser so that her parents don't have to worry about the inevitable expenses that will come with traveling to San Antonio from Eagle Pass, and everything else that comes with it and so they can focus all their time and energy on her and her brothers, Ruben A (17), Azael (12), Gadiel (5).
Other ways you can support Brisi and her family is by praying fervently for healing, faith, hope, and strength.
Pray for healing and health for the family.
Pray for peace and Strength during this time.
Pray for Briseida to have little to no side effects due to the treatment.
Pray for the challenges the family is facing due to being apart.
