Bri was diagnosed with a rare form of leukemia, known as JMML which is complicated by her already diagnosed Lupus. She is undergoing chemotherapy treatments in anticipation of her transplant which is expected to happen soon. Among the devastating diagnosis, she is blessed to have found a 100% match with her brother. Bri has required frequent doctor visits and hopitalization which has resulted in her mom not being able to work. The loss of income will become an even greater challenge as the transplant will be completed at UCSF and will require the family to rent nearby for atleast 2 months. All funds raised will go towards helping support the family during these hard times and any funds left over will be donated to the pediatric cancer research.
