My name is Stacy and have known this wonderful human for 5 years. As Yak’s friend and someone who has great admiration for all his work for the local community and in the South Sudan, we are all searching for possible events leading up to his disappearance. Yak is a coach, an athlete, and an avid runner. Yak is also incredibly intelligent. He’s a wonderful person and I pray he’s found safe. So many people have reached out and feeling like they want to help.

As many of you are aware, Yak was found deceased. Our hearts are broken. He had a smile that lit up a room and a heart of gold. We will do our very best to honor his memory everyday. We are better for having known him
