I'm Nick. My Mother, Rose, has been fighting bone cancer for 5 years now. We desperately want her to come home and spend the precious time she has left with her family. For the last 3 months, Rose has had increased pain in her right leg. Her care team investigated the issue and found that her femur was fractured and that she needed surgery to improve her pain. Rose's recovery has not been going as well as expected and she will suffer from limited mobility for the rest of her life. This donation campagin will cover not only our home conversion, but a $30,000 medical bill from her care clinic. Like many other Americans, our credit has suffered and any type of loan is out of the queston. We all work, however it will not be possible to save that ammount of money in a reasonable amount of time. We currently live in a two story home, with no bedrooms or shower on the ground floor. Before we can bring mom home, we need to install a bathroom, and purchase a hospital bed, and mobility equipment such as a "hover round" and/or wheel chair. We have also thought about installing a stair lift, however we were quoted $14,500 due to the multiple landing stair case we have. So this is not our number one priority. We all apreaciate any donation, even $1 would help. Thank you for reading about our situation, and with your help, we can bring mom home to us, to her family.
