Bring Mynor Bac
Mynor Bac and his 13 year old daughter were coming back home where they were approached by three drunk people. They began harrassing Mynor and his daughter. Mynor told his daughter to go inside. When she returned she witnessed her father being brutally attacked. She ran back inside and called 911, essentially saving his life.
The ruthlessness of the attack and being out numbered left Mynor in grave shape.
He was stabbed forcefully in the head and in the back near his ribs. This caused cracking of the skull resulting in brain damage, puncturing of the ribs caused a collapsed lung and lots of blood loss which left him unconsious for three days.
"Have you ever met someone that has an "aura" about them that breathes a zest for life and positivity? Well, He's that someone. He would show up to work with water, coffee and bagels for the team, just because he wanted to do it. I'd laugh at him and he'd say it's 4am, I am sure people would like coffee and bagels, with a smile. He just had that love about him that lights up a room, and a spirit, on a dim day."
He is the pillar in his family and the sole supporter. Supporting his two sisters along with their kids, in addition to raising his own two daughters. His parents currently live in Guatemala and are doing everything in their power to get here, but money is the main obstacle.
HE NEEDS to have his parents here. But that is a costly endeavor on top of the medical expenses that keep accruing. This is why we are asking for support from the community.
He is someone's son, brother, and father. Most of all, an amazing, wonderful, and caring friend.
The current prognosis is that he is stable and healing. Right now, he has lost the functionality of the right side of his body, which will require months of physical and occupational therapy just so he is able to do everyday basic tasks that we all take for granted. We're hoping for the best , but understanding the worst. For someone who has always been so active and physical, it is going to be very devastating road ahead. Please Join us in helping Mynor Bac.
