My heart is heavy as I write this.
My sister, Krystal Anderson, was kidnapped and murdered in August 2022 in Aiken, South Carolina. Nearly four years later, in May 2026, authorities were led to her buried remains by the man responsible for taking her life.
The past four years have been an incredibly painful journey for our family—especially for my mother, myself, and Krystal’s four children. While grieving this unimaginable loss, we have also continued to fight for justice.
Every August since Krystal went missing our family has gathered for a prayer vigil, releasing balloons and praying for a miracle that Krystal would be found. This year, instead of praying for her return, we will join together to officially say our goodbyes and lay our sweet angel to rest, August 22, 2026, surrounded by family, friends, and supporters who have stood beside us throughout this difficult journey.
These past painful years have placed tremendous emotional, mental, and extreme financial strain on our family. Today, we find ourselves once again in need of our community’s support—this time to give my sister the beautiful memorial service she deserves and lay her to her final resting place with dignity and love.
We are relaunching this fundraiser to help cover the costs associated with the memorial and burial arrangements. The majority of these donations were made years ago to help support Krystal’s children during the unimaginable uncertainty of her disappearance.
We are deeply grateful for the support, prayers, kindness, and generosity we have received. I hope that by sharing our story, you will understand the circumstances that have led us to seek assistance. Any contribution, no matter the amount, is greatly appreciated.
If you are unable to donate, we ask that you continue to keep our family in your prayers as we seek strength, healing, and justice.
The donations will also go towards helping with the children.
Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for your support.
