My daughter Jayla went missing in Avondale Estates, Georgia, on 12/23/25, while under the care of her father and paternal grandmother. I live in another state, which has made responding quickly and remaining on the ground extremely difficult without significant financial strain. Despite this, I am doing everything possible to be present, and pursue every available avenue to locate my child and bring her home safely. The Avondale Estates Department Chief of Police Harry Hess, stated that she doesn’t meet the requirements for an Amber Alert, even though she has documented mental health needs.
Funds raised will be used for:
Travel expenses related to the search,
Taking unpaid time off work to focus fully on locating my child,
Printing and distributing flyers and awareness materials,
Legal fees for custody filings and retaining an attorney,
Other urgent and unforeseen expenses related to this situation.
This is the most terrifying and overwhelming experience of my life. Any support—whether through donations or simply sharing this page—means more than words can express.
Thank you for standing with me and helping me fight to bring my daughter home!
