Bringing the Love of Jesus to Sarajevo

Hey friends! I've got an incredible opportunity to serve with Ride Nature this summer in Bosnia. Ride Nature is an action sports mission organization that's dedicated to giving generously, proclaiming the gospel and Jesus Christ, and making disciples through action sports outreach.

During this trip, we will be partnering with a local skate shop and working alongside the local church in the capital city of Sarajevo using skateboarding as a tool for outreach, discipleship, and community building. Skateboarding, like many other sports, transcends language and cultural barriers, acting as a universal language that unites people through shared passion, creativity, and a unique lifestyle, fostering a global community of people from diverse backgrounds. Therefore, skating itself is a perfect vessel to bridge gaps when reaching out for connection and hope.

Through skate sessions, events, and intentional conversations, our mission is to encourage and equip the local skate scene while sharing the hope of the gospel.

The trip is from May 7th-May 14th, and I would be extremely grateful if you partnered with me in raising $2,000 for the trip, which will take care of the flight, lodging and meals.

Bosnia and Herzegovina's religion is predominantly Islam, with Chrisitan minorities (Eastern Orthodox and Roman Catholic). The country is surrounded by Croatia, Serbia and Montenegro and is rich in history, culture, and resilience. The skate scene is small, but fueled by a passionate community of skaters dedicated to pushing the culture forward. I can't wait to share with you how God is working through His people in Sarajevo.
