The Honorable Joseph Eubanks Jr.

A life worth celebrating.

Our beloved friend Joseph Eubanks Jr., a proud son of Roxbury , a true community leader, and Vice President of Black Net Worth Development Association Inc (501c3) nonprofit departed this life on December 20, 2025. To those who knew him as Joe, JoeJoe, or The Honorable Joe, he was an unforgettable presence. He was outspoken, principled, deeply loving, and unwavering in his commitment to his community.

Joseph was the only child of Anne and Joseph Eubanks Sr., whom he loved fiercely. The loss of his parents weighed heavily on him, especially after his mother’s passing, which profoundly affected his spirit. Yet even through grief, Joe kept going. He kept walking the neighborhood, showing up, staying engaged, and caring deeply about what happened in Roxbury and beyond.

Joe was a constant in the life of the community. He followed politics closely, spoke his truth boldly, and never hesitated to share his analysis or hold leaders accountable. There wasn’t a candidate or elected official who crossed paths with Joe without hearing exactly what he thought and why. His passion came from love. Love for his neighborhood and love for justice.

Joseph Eubanks Jr. gave so much of himself to others. Now, it is our turn to give back.

We are coming together to ensure Joe receives the dignified homegoing he deserves and to fulfill the wish of laying him to rest in Augusta, Georgia, alongside his parents. This journey requires resources, and we are asking the community he loved so deeply to help us bring him home.
