Bringing The Coach to Life: Audiobook Fund

Let me tell you about my book. The Coach is a spicy romcom football sports romance that focuses on the coach rather than the player. Travis is the head coach of a fictitious NFL franchise in Seattle, WA. But this book isn't just about love. This novel delves into the experience of a woman who survived a trauma and how it impacted her life. This is a story that is full of love, laughter, found family, and overcoming pain.

I am an indie author with a big dream. And that dream can be effectuated with your help! I want to turn this important love story into an audiobook because I believe it has the chance of helping others. At least... that's my hope.

THE COACH -

Travis: I'm the head coach of the Seattle Steelhead NFL football team. But first and foremost, I'm a dad of two twin girls. After a painful divorce, I've decided to focus on my children and career. However, this season, the challenges on the field pale in comparison to those off it. It doesn't help that my nanny has a family emergency and has to leave unexpectedly.

Balancing the pressures of leading my team to the playoffs and managing my personal life is no easy feat. This year is make or break for me if I want to remain a head coach in the NFL, so I put my love life on the back burner to dedicate all my energy to football and family.

But that all changes when I meet her...

Gabriella (Ella): As a child psychologist, I have chosen to make the mental health of young people my main focus in life. My past trauma cast a dark cloud over my life for so long. I find solace in helping others. But that same pain that drives me toward helping others has also caused me to stay clear of men and relationships. Now that I've graduated and earned my PhD, I'm ready to start building my new business in Seattle.

Then I meet him. Thoughts and feelings I've never allowed myself to feel before come at me with the clobbering force of a wrecking ball, tearing down every wall I've ever erected around my mind, my heart, straight to my soul.

Somehow, (I blame my cousin Gary) I find myself stepping in to help Travis and his daughters when his nanny has a family emergency. Of course, this all happens after I resolved to stay away from him!

But the thing is... what I was sure would or could never happen, does. I never see coming the drastic changes that Travis is able to make in my life.
