Bringing Stormy home

Hello everyone,

I’m Missy Morlan, I am Stormy’s aunt!

On the morning of June 22nd, my niece woke up feeling awful by June 24th she was totally paralyzed from the neck down! She has been diagnosed with a spinal stroke. Spinal strokes are extremely rare. That make up about 1% of strokes annually world wide, bc of this she was misdiagnosed and sent home from 4 emergency room visits!! Her prognosis isn’t great, the team of doctors caring for at St. Anthony’s hospital in OKC don’t expect her to regain movement. She’s subsequently been diagnosed with an autoimmune disorder as well as West Nile virus!! She has a 2.5 year old little girl at home that misses her mommy! My niece is only 23 years old. As of right now when she’s released from the hospital she will have to go to a nursing home. She doesn’t deserve that. She deserves to be home with her daughter and family. I’m trying to help raise funds to get her home remodeled to be handicap accessible and take some of the financial burden off her parents. Please donate if possible.
