My name is Iris Morales, and I am a hardworking single mother of three beautiful children. I became a mom at a very young age, but from the very beginning, my children have always been my greatest motivation. No matter the obstacles life has placed in front of me, I have continued to work tirelessly to make sure my kids feel safe, loved, and provided for.

Recently, my family and I have been going through one of the most difficult chapters of our lives. After being together for over a decade, I went through a very ugly divorce. My ex-husband and I share one daughter together, and since the separation, we have faced ongoing legal battles that have taken an emotional and financial toll on all of us.

Anyone who truly knows me knows how inseparable my daughter and I have always been. She was my shadow my best friend and we did everything together. Since the divorce, custody arrangements have forced us into a difficult new reality, and watching my daughter struggle emotionally while going back and forth between homes has been heartbreaking.

I am doing my best to navigate co-parenting with someone who is unwilling to work together peacefully, while also trying to maintain stability for all three of my children. On top of the emotional stress, the constant legal motions and court proceedings have become incredibly expensive for a single-income household.

I never imagined I would have to ask for help, but today I am reaching out because I need assistance obtaining legal representation so I can continue fighting for my daughter’s well-being and finally bring some peace and stability back into our lives.
