Help me bring SHOWSTOPPER to the Edinburgh Fringe!

Thanks for checking out my fundraising page! I’m raising money to take my one-woman show to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival—The world's largest performance arts festival! The icing on the cake is that I’ve been invited to perform SHOWSTOPPER at the legendary Gilded Balloon—the premier venue for comedy! It’s a dream come true! How can I pass up this opportunity? I can’t. But it’s going to be expensive.

I'll be doing a full run (24 performances) of SHOWSTOPPER at the Festival. I’m raising money to help cover expenses like travel, housing, venue rentals, marketing material and enough shepherd's pie to hold me over for the month of August! I have ambitious goals, so even the smallest donations will help.

If you know me, you know I love making people laugh and I hope I’ve made you snicker at one time or another. What I love about this show is the shared joy between the audience and me. I see the smiles, hear the laughter and enjoy those tender moments of reflection. SHOWSTOPPER is a cringeworthy spoof about reaching for the stars in Tinseltown.

Self-proclaimed, famous Hollywood actress Isabel Klein showcases her jaw-dropping talents in this one-woman show. The future Oscar/BAFTA winner takes you on a self-indulgent journey, working her way to the top. But when everything goes horribly wrong, can she hold it together until the final curtain?

The New York Times defines SHOWSTOPPER as, "A performance receiving prolonged applause from the audience.” Don’t let Klein’s credits from the Hollywood Improv, Groundlings, and RADA intimidate you! She puts her clown shoes on one foot at a time.

Cost Breakdown:

Housing: $3,500 - I'm staying with some friends in student housing, but prices are extreme during the festival.

Travel: $1,200 airfare + $70 for a monthly bus pass + $200 Uber/Taxi

Marketing: $2,000

Venue Rental: $2,700

Food: $330

Total: $10,000

But I am asking for $7,000 because I have saved up money for this!
