As filmmakers, we’ve always been drawn to stories that reflect the pressures we see in the real world. Perfectly Adjusted is our way of speaking about the fashion industry and its obsession with perfection.
Set in a high-stakes modeling environment, the film follows a group of models whose worth is constantly judged, compared, and picked apart. As tensions rise, the polished surface starts to crack, revealing something much darker underneath.
This isn’t just a horror film for us. Instead, it’s a way to explore how people are reduced to images, trends, and “perfect” parts, and what that does to identity and self-worth.
With your support, we can bring this story to life in a way that feels raw, unsettling, and visually striking with extreme fashion and special effects.
Your support will go directly into bringing Perfectly Adjusted to life on screen, with a strong focus on the visual storytelling that makes this project stand out.
A large portion of our budget will be dedicated to special effects (SFX) supplies, allowing us to create practical, in-camera horror that feels real and unsettling. This includes prosthetics, molds, silicone work, blood rigs, and other materials needed to safely achieve the film’s more intense moments.
We’re also investing heavily in our art department, which is key to building the sterile, high-fashion world of the film. From set design and props to wardrobe and styling, every detail helps sell the contrast between beauty and discomfort at the core of the story.
Your support also helps us cover essential production needs like equipment rentals and meals for our cast and crew, making sure everyone involved is supported and taken care of throughout the process.
All sponsors will receive on-screen credit for their support in making this project possible.
Once completed, we plan to submit Perfectly Adjusted to a wide range of short film festivals and competitions to get it in front of audiences and industry professionals. Our ultimate goal is to use this short as a proof of concept for a larger project.
By supporting this film, you’re not just funding a short; you’re helping launch something bigger.
