Bringing Patricia Ikegwuonu’s body home

Please consider donating to help me bring Patricia Ikegwuonu’s body home from Nigeria so she can be laid to rest besides her husband and daughter.

Over the past month, Patrica was back in her home country of Nigeria showing her two son’s her birth country. She wanted to show them the places m my her and her husband used to go and share her memories of wonderful times with their father. Shortly after sending her sons back to the US, Patricia was intentionally gunned down in a car in her native village. Why she was murdered, we may never know.

Patricia was an amazing mother, sister, and friend who faced many heartaches in her life. She lost her husband, sister, and daughter all within two years of each other. Despite these heartaches, she continued to preserve and survived a heart attack and two bouts of cancer. Throughout all her trials and tribulations she remained positive, smiled and took care of others as a nurse. Patricia was the strongest woman I know; a kind and generous woman who lived a modest life so she could help others despite her personal difficulties.

Patricia was a fighter and we are fighting on her behalf to bring her body back to the US so she can be buried with dignity alongside her family. As some of you may know, I have been by Patricia's side through all of her pain and suffering, and this will be the last time I will be able to ensure that she is safe and at peace.

Funds raised will be used to work with the Nigerian government to have her body flown back to the US, where her family and friends can say good-bye in a proper funeral. Any contribution is greatly appreciated.
