Bringing my twin sister from Rwanda for graduation
Donation protected
I love my twin sister so much. We spent most of our childhood together. We went to the same elementary school and high school. I like to say that she is my guardian angel. I thank God that I have never had to be alone because since my mother's womb my twin sister has been there with me and for me.
Three years ago I moved to the U.S. for the pursuit of knowledge. I have been incredibly blessed to learn so much through the people I have met and the places I have been. It's a precious gift, one I will cherish for the rest of my life.
One of the things that made my experience really hard is that for the first time in my life, I am on adventure that my twin sister cannot be on. We have shared everything in our lives from porridge to big secrets but this experience. I know God has different purposes and plans for our lives but still I wish she was here with me.
The photo above was taken two years ago when I last saw her.
I am getting closer to my graduation and believe it will an amazing gift to have her here with me both as representative of my entire family that can't come and as lifelong best friend. I would love for her to see the place I have called home for four years of my life and to meet the people I have come to love, my other family.
Due to the prices of flights and all documents that come with traveling across the world, I can't do this on my own. I would like to invite you to join me in bringing my twin sister here.
Thank you for your generosity!
