Hi , I’m Clair and I’m starting this fundraiser to try and get my old dog home to me and my 5 yr old girl, to live out her final yrs in the heat and comfort where she belongs.

I found Breña in a garbage container when she was only about 4 wks old. I was living in the south if Spain and already had a crazy puppy but with being one of those people who prefers animals to people, there was no way I was leaving her. I’d seen her 2 days earlier with other dogs but thot nothing of it. But someone had obviously binned her since coz there was no way she could have got in herself.

Breña has been with me ever since through thick and thin, good times and bad but unfortunately we have been separated.

My mother died during Covid with a misdiagnosed cancer and literally died the day we were coming bk for her to meet her only granddaughter. I came back to Scotland to sort out the estate and during this time have lost both my remaining grandparents and my child’s father chose to move on resulting in me and my girl not having a home in Spain to go back to and my dog and lifetime’s possessions just left.

Breña always lived indoors with me. Allowed on the sofa (draw a line at bed) always inside cozy on nasty days but where she is now, she lives in a stable. She has a few sores from bein outside and I’m just heartbroken thinking of her ending her life without the comfort and cuddles she deserves.This dog has jumped in front of my puppy n took a Staffy to the throat n survived, swallowed a 4 inch fishing hook n survived. Had Parvo and survived. She’s been thru a lot and deserves so much more.

She is too old to fly home, that would be the quickest and not bad priced way to do it but, I’m not risking it.

So the decision has been made to find a route and company to bring her by road. As u can imagine this does not come cheap. Plus a single mum not working doesn’t exactly leave me with a lot of funds.

So, I’m reaching out to animal lovers to PLEASE help me bring her home. Every little helps and will be gratefully appreciated. Thank you xx
