With a heavy heart, I am saddened to share the passing of my beloved brother, Michael A. Mitlo. He has gone home to heaven and is now in the arms of our mother.
We will be holding a private memorial in California, where he was born and always wished to return (he especially missed In-N-Out). This will be a family-only gathering.
Any amount you can give will help cover the costs of his cremation/urn and the expenses to bring him home to me, his brother. Any remaining funds will go toward a memorial service, which we hope to hold in a local park in December or January, depending on when I receive his ashes. We sincerely thank everyone who is able to help.
Michael turned 40 this past August. He loved Transformers, video games, and watching wrestling. Some of my earliest memories are of us watching wrestling together and reenacting the moves we saw on TV. We would play video games until our mom unplugged the console because we refused to stop.
My brother loved his job at Walmart, and he cared deeply for his coworkers—many of whom were like family to him.
Thank you all for your love, support, and kindness during this difficult time.
