Many of you do not know this, but last August I took on the task of making my children's father accountable - a job I had happily conquered since the time of conception.  Throughout the process I was fairly confident because I had always been the primary custodial parent, but also had been told by a lawyer I had to trust that a judge would see this no other way.   Shockingly, trial came to an end on May 2nd, 2017 in favor of their father.  I packed bags for my babies with their favorite things and allowed them to be transferred to their father's custody. In the past 3 days I have experienced nothing but earth shattering sadness.  I ask questions of how and why.  Any one who may know me, knows Madelyn and Olivia. They know that they are my heart and soul and have been without question their entire lives.  This makes no sense.  I have spoken with appeals attorney's and asked my chances.  A new trial is being sought, that of which is costly. $5000 is needed by 5/8 in efforts to proceed. If a new trial is granted the attorney fee is $200/hr.  I am taking to GoFundMe because I feel I have no other option of coming up with the amount of money requeseted so quickly.  I only have 30 days past the entry date of this trial (entry date May 18) to file for a new trial and throw myself at the mercy of the same judge, with supporting evidence.  With this said, I have to hire an attorney who will go through the records and try and find grounds for a new trial.  I have someone hopeful in my corner.  This route is the only option in hopes of doing what is right by my girls.  Please share!
