Bringing Justus Home

Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,

After months of intense treatment for a rare cancer (Cholangiocarcinoma), we are heartbroken to share that our beloved Justus Amunga passed away on Wednesday morning, November 17,  finishing the work that God  had  for him.   His passion for ministry and teaching, as well as his heart for the orphans, were the driving forces in the work he did.  His biggest mission was to win orphans to Christ, to give them a new hope.   By taking them off the streets and providing them a safe, nurturing, and loving environment, he  slowly broke the cycle of poverty.   In 2001, he began Ushindi Children's Home in Kambiri, Kakamega, a non-profit organization that is currently home to 230 orphans across the nation of Kenya.

The families wish, aligned with Justus, was that he be brought home to Kambiri.  To help ease the financial burden we have organized this fundraiser.  If you feel led to donate, every single dollar helps - no donation is too small - and will be accepted with gratitude and love from Jane, Emmanuel, Victory, Favour, and Trevour Amunga.

We appreciate your prayers and support, and ask that you help us share this GoFundMe campaign on your social media so that we can reach the many people who want to help.

Sincerely,

The Amunga Family

I'm Sheila Baeza and I helped the Amunga family organize this GoFundMe for Justus'  home bringing.  The funds raised here will help the family in transporting Justus to Kambiri,  airfare for the family, and any other expenses for the memorial and funeral.
