On Thursday, August 14th Jonalyn Flores Madarang passed away suddenly after a difficult battle with lupus.

Nona was many things to many people, giving all of herself through touching the lives of everyone she met. She was a loving mother, daughter, sister, and loyal friend known for her sense of humor, her bluntness, and the special ability to see people for who they are.

Even in the face of challenges, she would always find a way to make people laugh, She carried a warrior's spirit in a gentle heart. Her fight with Lupus came fast with filled with risilence caring for her two young children. Now at rest, no longer held by her illness, she is able to find comfort and peace.

Longing for nothing more, she hopes to be surrounded by family and to return to the place she called home. The family is asking for support honoring her last wishes to bring her home to rest alongside her family and friends in Guam. The family is grateful for all your prayers, wishes, and financial support as they navigate this challenging time together.
