With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Jetzreel Ortiz, a loving, generous, and kind-hearted soul whose life was tragically cut short at just 22 years old. Jetzreel passed away in a motorcycle accident on Saturday, December 27, 2025.

Jetzreel had a deep love for life and for rugby, a sport that reflected who he was—strong, dedicated, passionate, and always a team player. On and off the field, he was known for his generosity, loyalty, and the way he uplifted everyone around him. He brought light, laughter, and heart wherever he went.

His passing has left an unimaginable void in the lives of his family, friends, teammates, and all who were blessed to know him. His family’s greatest wish is to lay Jetzreel to rest in Puerto Rico, his homeland—a place that holds his roots, culture, and family history.

The unexpected costs of funeral arrangements and transporting his body have placed a heavy financial burden on his loved ones during this incredibly difficult time. We are asking for your support to help honor Jetzreel’s life and fulfill his family’s wish to bring him home.
