Our friend Dave Rose and his family suffered a terrible loss yesterday.   Their daughter Jess lost her battle with heroin addiction.  
Unlike other diseases families face, addiction treatment can takes years and the cost of the fight falls on the family.  Parents like Dave & Kathy do whatever it takes, often times making financially desperate choices.  

Dave & Kathy didn’t ask for help with the battle, but they could use our help now.   As many of us know, it costs a lot to lay a loved one to rest.  When that loved one is your child, the burden of how to pay for it shouldn’t compound an already brutal time.

Dave grew up here.  He & Kathy raised their twins Megan & Jess here.   We have an amazingly caring community, one that has risen up gratefully to help an old friend, a neighbor, a classmate.
