On New Year’s, our family suffered a sudden and heartbreaking loss. My brother-in-law, Jay Gallego, passed away unexpectedly in Florida. His passing has left our family in shock and deeply grieving.
Jay is survived by his 17-year-old son and his only brother, Steven, who are now facing the pain of this loss alongside Jay’s parents.
Jay’s parents are now enduring an unimaginable reality—mourning the loss of their second child. In 2022, they lost Jay’s sister, and this loss has reopened wounds no parent should ever have to endure. Our hearts are with them as they navigate this incredibly painful time.
We are humbly asking for support to help Jay’s parents bring their son home to New Jersey, where he can be laid to rest surrounded by family. Funds raised will help cover:
• Travel to Florida to recover Jay’s remains
• Cremation and related arrangements
• Transportation and associated costs
• Additional expenses so his parents can focus on grieving and healing
Any contribution, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden during this difficult time. If you are unable to donate, sharing this page is deeply appreciated.
Thank you for your kindness, compassion, and support as our family honors Jay’s memory
