Help bring Jakeem Amari Hines home for funeral & burial service.
It is with unimaginable heartbreak that we share the loss of Jahkeem Amari Hines. A loving son, brother, and friend. Jahkeem was only 14 years old when he was shot in the head in Tesla, Oklahoma. He fought bravely for nearly two weeks holding on with incredible strength, but his young body could no longer endure any longer. Jakeem was full of life. He loved basketball, music, playing and laughing every chance he got. He brought joy to those around him and had so much promise ahead of him. His life was taken far too soon, and our family is devasted beyond words. Jakeem leaves behind two siblings who loved him dearly.
His 11-year-old sister, Jenesis Johnson
His 1-year-old baby brother and another sibling on the way
Our family's greatest wish is to bring Jakeem back home to Virginia, where he can be properly laid to rest surrounded by family, love, and community that raised him. The unexpected costs of medical care, transportation, funeral, and burial expenses have placed a heavy financial burden on our family during this already painful time. We are asking for support to help cover.
- Transportation to bring Jakeem home to Virginia
- Funeral and burial expenses
- Related memorial and family expenses
No donation is too small. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping our family in your prayers. Your kindness, love, and support mean more to us than words can express.
Thank you for helping us honor Jakeem's life and bring him home.
With gratitude and love,
Jakeem's Family
