Diana and I married almost 9 years ago. We dreamed of a large family, caring for children from the moment we said "I do!" We have always desired to raise children of our own; nurture them, teach them to be virtuous (e.g., kind, patient, and loving). We began trying to have our first child in July 2020, shortly after the pandemic. We had tried for 3 months, but to no avail. Then miraculously, after giving up, we found out Diana was pregnant with our daughter, who is now 3 years of age. Praise God!

Due to circumstances, we decided to wait to try again for our second child until January 2024. We went through 4 rounds of ovulation induction and 4 rounds of IUIs. Even after what seems to have been endless fertility appointments, numerous ultrasounds, many pills, a half-dozen medicated prescription shots, and countless tears, we are, still, not pregnant. Seeing our daughter grow up without a sibling and not have the time and affection that only a sibling could offer is heartbreaking for our family.

Infertility has been a tremendous difficulty for our family, both emotionally and spiritually. We never imagined a trial such as infertility in our marriage, and such a trial has become increasingly besetting in our lives. However, we still have hope, as we still desire another child.
