Nicole is a single mother who has spent this past year fighting battles that most people never see & would normally never ask for help on her own, but after everything she and her children have gone through, it’s clear they need a little support from anyone moved to help or pray for them.
Nicole left a very unhealthy situation to protect her children and start over with nothing but her strength and her faith. Their father signed his rights away, leaving her to raise them completely on her own — emotionally, financially, and physically. She has been doing everything she can to rebuild their lives, one step at a time.
Shortly after finally getting into a place of their own, the car she purchased turned out to be a complete lemon. It has broken down repeatedly, drained every extra dollar she had, and is now unsafe for her and the kids to drive. Still, she keeps trying to get to work, to appointments, and to take care of her children because she simply has no other choice.
On top of the daily struggle, Nicole’s health has taken a severe turn this year. She was hospitalized with sepsis multiple times , has undergone multiple surgeries, and the chronic illnesses she has battled for years have worsened. She finds herself in the ER every month, sometimes more, trying to manage symptoms and pain that most people never see.
Her children have also faced emotional and medical challenges, including two psychiatric hospitalizations this year. Through all of this, Nicole has done everything in her power to be strong for them.
And despite her own struggles, Nicole opened her home to a 16-year-old who was going through a difficult home situation. That teenager has been working to help pay utilities — a burden no child should have to carry, but one she took on with maturity and love.
Nicole works multiple jobs, sometimes seven days a week, pushing through exhaustion, pain, and everything life has thrown at her. But now she is at a point where she needs help to get caught up and give her kids a safe, stable, peaceful home again.
This fundraiser is to help Nicole and her children:
• Catch up on December bills
• Cover part of January so she can stabilize
• Repair or replace her unsafe car
• Have a small but meaningful Christmas
• Bring some light and joy into their home with simple decorations
Nicole is not asking for luxury — just stability. Just a breath. Just a chance to get back on her feet.
Anything helps — even $1.
And for those unable to donate financially, prayers, kind words, and sharing this fundraiser mean just as much. Nicole believes deeply that God places the right people in our lives at the right time, and that He provides through the kindness of others when we can’t carry everything alone.
If someone prefers to donate directly, even straight to the utility company, that information can be provided upon request.
