Bringing Home The Bacon

On October 22nd my mother, Diane Bacon Miles, lost her husband, Brett D. Weller, suddenly. The two of them had moved to Alaska in 2013 in search of a new adventure and a new home together along with their two pets, Gracie and Tish. 

Death often times leaves us in confusion, frustration, despair, and in many cases changes the lives of the people around us significantly. Due to certain circumstances surrounding the passing of Brett, my mother has found herself in a rather tough situation. With the help of her family, friends and loved ones everywhere we believe we can help her find her way back home to the East coast of the US. There waiting for her is her previous position at the Delaware Autism Program, friends, family and a fresh start in a place where support will always be. This transition is going to require an overwhelming amount of funds for her to make this become reality. My Mom needs our help with safe transportation of her pets, finding a place to live back home, funding her travel as a whole (including shipping her vehicle out of Alaska due to weather and travel restrictions), and many many more things that will lead up to a successful transition and a fresh start.
