Batman has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.
As a kid, I skipped a surprise pony just to keep watching Batman: The Animated Series. The next year, I dressed as Batman for my birthday… and promptly fell flat on my face. That moment stuck with me: Why do we fall?
Years later, inspired by Daredevil and Frank Miller’s Year One, I started writing a grounded, street-level Batman fan film — a non-profit project made purely out of love for the character.
I’ve secured most of the gear and costumes. The final hurdle is bringing Gotham to life through locations, props, and basic production logistics.
My first goal is $1,800, which will help cover essential props, set dressing, food for cast & crew, and transportation between Philly and NYC.
