Help Bring Geovanny and Yesser Home to Nicaragua

On September 4, 2026, the Acevedo family experienced an unimaginable tragedy when two beloved brothers, Geovanny Acevedo Rizo and Yesser Acevedo Rizo, tragically lost their lives.

Geovanny and Yesser were their parents’ only children. Losing both sons at the same time has left their parents and loved ones completely devastated. Geovanny also leaves behind his loving wife and two young children, who must now face life without their husband and father.

The family’s greatest wish is to bring Geovanny and Yesser home to Nicaragua, where they can be laid to rest surrounded by their family, loved ones, and community. The expenses associated with transporting both brothers internationally, arranging funeral and burial services, and supporting their immediate family are substantial and unexpected.

We are asking the community to help the Acevedo family give these brothers the dignified homegoing they deserve. Donations will assist with the cost of transporting Geovanny and Yesser to Nicaragua, funeral and burial expenses, and immediate support for Geovanny’s wife and two young children.

El 4 de septiembre de 2026, la familia Acevedo vivió una tragedia inimaginable cuando dos hermanos muy queridos, Geovanny Rizo Acevedo y Yesser Rizo Acevedo, perdieron trágicamente la vida.

Geovanny y Yesser eran los únicos hijos de sus padres. Perder a ambos hijos al mismo tiempo ha dejado a sus padres y seres queridos completamente devastados. Geovanny también deja a su amada esposa y a dos hijos pequeños, quienes ahora deben enfrentar la vida sin su esposo y padre.

El mayor deseo de la familia es repatriar a Geovanny y Yesser de regreso a Nicaragua, para que puedan recibir sepultura rodeados de su familia, sus seres queridos y su comunidad.
