Bringing Faith-Based Medical Care to the DR with UAB PA!

Hi everyone!

I am currently in UAB’s Physician Associate Program in Birmingham, AL. This upcoming May, we have an incredible opportunity to go on a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic. This opportunity will allow me to both grow in my faith and acquire hands on medical skills. The purpose of this trip is to provide medical and spiritual care to children and families. UAB’s PT and OT students will be participating in this trip alongside other UAB PA students. At this time, I am fundraising for assistance in airfare, meals, lodging, transportation, leadership training, medical supplies, and literature needed during my time in the Dominican Republic.
