Help Bring Christian Yaekob Gebeto Home to Ethiopia

With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Christian Yaekob Gebeto, a third-year engineering student in Houston, Texas. Christian came to the United States with the dream of becoming an engineer and creating a better future for his family. Tragically, his life was cut short before he could fulfill that dream.

Christian lost his father, Engineer Yaekob Gebeto, when he was a young child. His mother, Mrs. Desalech Lodiso, courageously raised her children with hope and God's grace, believing that one day Christian would complete his education and help support the family. He leaves behind his grieving mother, a brother, and a sister.

We are raising funds to help cover the funeral home expenses, preparation and transportation of Christian's body from the United States to Ethiopia, burial expenses, and other necessary costs related to his passing. Our goal is to return Christian home so his family can give him a dignified farewell in Ethiopia, surrounded by the love of family and friends. ክርስቲያን ያዕቆብ ገበቶን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ ለመመለስ ድጋፍ እናድርግ

የውድ ልጃችንን የክርስቲያን ያዕቆብ ገበቶን ሕልፈት ስናሳውቅ በከባድ ሀዘን ነው። ክርስቲያን በሂውስተን፣ ቴክሳስ የሶስተኛ ዓመት የኢንጂነሪንግ ተማሪ ሲሆን፣ ለቤተሰቡ የተሻለ ሕይወት ለመፍጠር ትልቅ ሕልም ይዞ ወደ አሜሪካ መጥቶ ነበር። በአሳዛኝ ሁኔታ ግን ሕይወቱ ከጊዜው በፊት ተቀጭቶአል።

ክርስቲያን አባቱን፣ ኢንጂነር ያዕቆብ ገበቶን፣ ገና በልጅነቱ አጥቶ ነበር። እናቱ ወይዘሮ ደሳለች ሎዲሶ በብዙ ተስፋ እና በእግዚያ/ር እርዳታ ልጆቿን አሳደገች፣ ክርስቲያንም ትምህርቱን ጨርሶ ቤተሰቡን እንደሚደግፍ ታላቅ ተስፋ የነበረው ልጅ ነበር። ዛሬ ግን እናቱን፣ ወንድሙን እና እህቱን በከባድ ሐዘን ትቶ አልፏል።

ይህ የገንዘብ ማሰባሰቢያ የፉነራል ቤት ወጪዎችን፣ ከአሜሪካ ወደ ኢትዮጵያ የማጓጓዣ ወጪዎችን፣ የቀብር ወጪዎችን እና ከሕልፈቱ ጋር የተያያዙ ሌሎች አስፈላጊ ወጪዎችን ለመሸፈን ተዘጋጅቷል። ዓላማችን ክርስቲያንን ወደ ኢትዮጵያ በክብር በመመለስ ቤተሰቡና ወዳጆቹ የመጨረሻ ስንብት እንዲያደርጉለት ማስቻል ነው።

የምታደርጉት ማንኛውም ልገሳ ለቤተሰቡ ትልቅ እገዛ ይሆናል። እባክዎ ይህን የገንዘብ ማሰባሰቢያ በማጋራት እና ቤተሰቡን በጸሎትዎ በማሰብ ይተባበሩ።

በክርስቲያን ቤተሰብ ስም፣ ለምታሳዩት ፍቅር፣ ርኅራኄ እና ድጋፍ ከልብ እናመሰግናለን።
