The Book Fairy Brigade formed as a way to bring book joy and the magic of stories back into the communities where Houston ISD closed the school libraries.

These communities were already book deserts, and the school library was often the only easy access kids had to books.

Our goal is to flood these forgotten neighborhoods with diverse books and help children build their own home libraries!
