MY MISSION
In a world that moves too fast, I am a professional ballerina who takes time to bring human connection through dance and dialogue into senior living communities nationwide.
When I bring professional ballet into these intimate, shared spaces - the distance between performer and audience dissolves.
Each performance then becomes a beautiful conversation with others...and through dancing, gentle movement, breath work and dialogue - we remember who we are — and the art of human connection moves us all.
MY GOALS & VISION
Part of my long-term goal is to raise at least $250,000 so my vision can continue to grow nationally and beyond. Along the way, reaching smaller milestones keeps me traveling, performing, and saying yes to senior communities who are currently asking for this meaningful work.
COMMUNITIES I'VE TOUCHED SO FAR...
Over the past several years, I’ve been invited into hundreds of senior living spaces across the USA, including:
- Miami, Fort Lauderdale & Southeast Florida
- Tulsa, St. Louis, Omaha & Denver
- Sioux Falls & Rapid City (SD), Whitefish, Billings & Bozeman (MT)
- Dallas, Scottsdale & Phoenix
- New York City & Washington, D.C.
Everywhere, the experience is the same: elders engaging with art not as spectators, but as participants — through memory, laughter, conversation, and sometimes tears of joy.

HOW YOUR GIFT SUPPORTS THIS WORK
Every donation helps me to continue and expand this work — bringing ballet and human connection to more elders, especially in communities that might never experience this without your help.
Your generosity helps cover:
- Travel and preparation
- Performance time
- Collaboration with additional dancers
- The essential costs of bringing joy, movement, and connection to more people across the USA...and beyond!
TWO WAYS TO GIVE
1. Donations made through this GoFundMe page are NOT tax-deductible, but still directly support me as an artist as I continue this valuable outreach to senior communities.
2. For donors who prefer a tax-deductible charitable giving option, my project is also fiscally sponsored by Fractured Atlas - a 501(c)(3) public charity that sponsors arts missions like mine. Donations given through FA are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
CLICK HERE TO GIVE THROUGH FRACTURED ATLAS, for a tax-deductible donation.
BOTH GIVING OPTIONS SUPPORT THE SAME MISSION— bringing live, human art and connection into the lives of elders — and I am deeply grateful for your generosity in whatever way feels most aligned to you.
With humble gratitude,
Emily Ricca
